Queue is a relatively young paper, which is placing itself in a market dominated by the likes of the Economist and Time Magazine. This, clearly, means that the competition is tough, yet we have our sights set on engaging the public with a new kind of journalism. Events of recent years have served only to reinforce the fact that today’s media are driving the beliefs and culture of today’s society, not, as they would claim, the other way around.
Savage, relentless, immoral hacks, particularly from the tabloid newspapers of the UK, prey on the insecurities and naivety of middle England, seeking to galvanise support for their respective political causes. This, in turn, makes them powerful entities in the modern political arena, which encourages them to push the boundaries of moral behaviour harder and more frequently than ever before, in order to maintain this power. This is a vicious, perpetual cycle.
Queue was founded on the principle of inclusive journalism. This means that our publication will seek to provide balanced, reasoned judgement, excluding no one, engaging everyone. Our work will neither represent nor support any political party without offering a critique based upon statistically or scientifically proven fact.
